Answers to many of the most frequently asked questions we get are below. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for, or have a specific question, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Q: How do we get the key?
A: We use a keyless entry system and/or a lock box for all of our properties. A couple of weeks prior to your arrival we will ask you for a 4-digit code, which will be programmed into the keyless door or lockbox. About 7 days prior to your arrival we will send you an email with how to operate the keyless doors or where the lockbox is located.

Q: What is your minimum rental period?
A: During Spring Break and Summer weekly reservations are required, from Saturday to Saturday. Other times of the year we require a 3 night minimum reservation and during holidays 4 to 5 night minimums (depending upon the property).

Q: How much deposit is required?
A: An advance deposit equal to 50% is required per property at the time of booking. The advance payment will be applied toward the total rent, taxes and fees due.

Q: What is the cancellation Policy?
A: Cancellations made more than 120 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of rent, less the booking fee. Cancellations made more than 60 days, but less than 120 days prior to the arrival date, will receive a refund of ½ of the total of booking charges. Cancellations of less than 60 days prior to the arrival date will result in a 100% loss of the total booking charges.​

Q: When is full payment due?
A: Full payment is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Q: How much are the taxes?
A: Florida State Tax and Walton County Bed taxes total 11.5%

Q: When is check in/check out?
A: Check-in begins at 4 P.M. CST and check-out is 10 A.M. CST (9 A.M for a limited number of properties).

Q: Can I check-in early?
A: Due to our high housekeeping standards homes will not be available for check-in until we have inspected the property. We typically do not allow early check-ins unless special arrangements have been made, and they can be subject to an additional fee.

Q: I have a very small dog that is house broken. Is it OK to bring our pet?
A: Yes! We understand your 4-legged friends are part of your family! We have a number of pet friendly rentals…dogs only. Sorry no cats.

Q: Is there a pet fee?
A: Yes, there is a non-refundable pet fee of $150. This will cover up to 2 dogs.

Q: What items do you supply?
A: Paradise Beach Rentals provides each guest with a startup of supplies to include: Each full bathroom will have: Shampoo, Conditioner Lotion, Bath Bar (soap), Facial Bar (soap), 2 rolls toilet paper (1 per half bath). Kitchen: 1 roll paper towels, 5-6 packets of dish washer detergent, a new sponge and a small container of Palmolive liquid dish soap, 2 boxes powdered detergent for the washing machine or pods for the HE machines.

There will also be promotional items, with our logo, in each property. You may keep any item with our logo on it!
